Specialties: Gender Identity, Transgender Issues, LGBTQIA+, Depression, Child or Adolescent,

Introduction

I began working with my first transgender client back in 1990 when I knew very little about what I was doing or how to help. There were few resources or organizations I could turn to for help. There were no classes at that time and very few providers who were doing this work back then. Luckily for me, my client was patient and together we found the right people. This experience changed my Life! I decided right then and there I would dedicate the rest of my life to supporting and treating transgender and non-binary youth and adults. That was 31 years again and I am still kicking. I am honored to be a part of this community. I am now working with children and youth as youth as 5 years-old that are feeling that their gender may be different than their assigned gender at birth. We are able to provide resources for pediatric physicians that parents can consult with to get support and answers to any questions or fears they may have. There are also great books and support groups for both kids, youth, parents and families. Please contact us if we can be helpful to you or your family. Thank you.
