Life can be challenging, and everyone can benefit from extra support at times. I offer compassionate, creative, evidence-based care for those navigating trauma, anxiety, or depression. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. My intention is to be a companion along your journey, listening deeply and offering reflections and empowerment to help you overcome issues and obstacles to wellness. I work mainly with adults and adolescents and am especially passionate about working with depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have training and experience with several modalities including EMDR, the Flash Technique, Brainspotting, CBT, and DBT. With a background in molecular biology and neuroscience research, I have a keen interest in the brain and its functions. I believe in the connection of body, mind, and spirit and am comfortable working with spiritual issues as well as those of everyday life. I meet clients where they are and join them on their journey. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in the Biological Sciences from the University of Tulsa and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University. I maintain a deep curiosity and dedication to ongoing learning, which enhances my ability to provide effective and informed care. In addition to my professional work, I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, and occasionally teaching the sport of fencing! I look forward to working with you.
