Introduction

Casey (She/Her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor at Cedar Creek Wellness Group and has been working in mental health since 2004. She received a MS in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University in 2008. She has worked in various environments such as jails, schools, hospitals, clinics, and addiction treatment centers. Casey has experience with adolescents (13+), adults (18+), families, caretakers and various psychiatric conditions including Autism Spectrum, ADHD, LGBTQ+, Bipolar Disorder, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, pervasive illness, schizophrenia spectrum. Casey is Sex Positive and Kink Allied. She is trained in CBT, REBT, CPT and LEAP and uses a variety of different styles (i.e. meditation) and other techniques to help clients live their best life. Her approach to counseling focuses on mind, body, and spirit. Casey provides a judgement free zone and welcomes those from all faiths and walks of life. She will meet you wherever you are at. Casey is a LPC-S and enjoys teaching others new to the field, both Master's Level Counseling Students and LPC Associates. Casey lives with her husband and an assortment of animals {5 rescue dogs, 2 birds, and a Bearded Dragon}. When not counseling Casey enjoys sewing, knitting, crafting, playing video games, and yoga.
