Introduction

Hello! Currently, I am a Graduate Intern/Pre-Licensed Clinician with a graduation date of August 2025 at which time I will pursue my Associate License from the North Carolina Board of Mental Health Counselors. My desire to become a Mental Health Counselor began after some traumatic life experiences and my desire to become a Christian Counselor is due to my unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. My passion lies with helping children, teens, and adults heal and grow emotionally and psychologically by utilizing their own strength and self-awareness to be the best version of themselves. I am trained in Sant Tray Therapy for adults and children, I participate in on-going training for Re-Decision Therapy. I utilize techniques such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Trauma-Focused CBT and others. At this time I hold a BA in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University and a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Studies from Liberty University where I am also currently enrolled in the Mental Health Counseling Graduate Program. I am a single mom with two wonderful daughters who are very active. We are active members of our church and I am becoming state licensed for Foster Care and we can't wait to help children in need.
