Introduction

Welcome to my practice of person-centered care; where the complexities of our beings and intersectionality of identities will be attended to and validated. No matter the service area you are seeking, I believe your existing strength and resiliency will be fostered and expanded. I am a licensed Psychotherapist in Minneapolis, MN. I have over 12 years of experience in a variety of settings working with individuals and families. I have extensive experience with adolescents and young adults and feel particularly humbled to join in the exploration of identity formation that occurs during these periods of development. I consider my theoretical approach to be eclectic in that I utilize a variety of approaches to meet the individual needs of my clients, including, but not limited to, cognitive behavior therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy, trauma systems, internal family systems, attachment theory, and experiential techniques including mindfulness and awareness strategies. I am also a certified holistic health coach and have worked with women around developing dietary and lifestyle practices that are sustainable and support the life they wish to live. I integrate my knowledge of health and wellness into my therapeutic work as I value the importance of an integrated biological, psychological, social, and spiritual self.
