My name is Carrie McNulty, and I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania. I started Solace Clinical Associates because I wanted to reach clients throughout the state who would benefit from engaging in teletherapy. In 2002, I graduated from Penn State and started my career in mental health working as a Resource Coordinator/ Case manager. In 2008, I moved to Northern Ireland for a year and had the opportunity to work at a residential mental health program. This inspired me to attend grad school in 2009 at The University of Pittsburgh where I earned my MSW in 2011. From there, I began working at a Partial Hospitalization program/ Intensive Outpatient program at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic treating eating disorders. I worked closely with a skilled group of clinicians to treat clients at all stages in their recovery. In 2014, I moved to private practice to continue working with clients on a more individual level. Some of the modalities I use are CBT, DBT, MI, and I'm currently being trained in EMDR therapy. You can also visit my website at www.solaceclinical.com for more information. I truly believe that one of the most important aspects of therapy is the therapeutic relationship you build together. I offer a genuine, empathetic, client centered perspective. Recovery and wellness is possible for everyone.
