It takes immense courage to seek counseling when you find yourself struggling. Life's more challenging experiences often leave us struggling with hurt, doubt, or feelings of being overwhelmed. For many, this can be daunting and the idea of talking about our struggles with a stranger may sound uncomfortable and even scary. At Care Counseling, my focus is to provide a safe space to develop our connection through listening with compassion and curiosity without judgment. Together we can discover your journey to a fulfilling life defined by you. I am trained in techniques such as EMDR, Brainspotting, and somatic work to help process both single-incident traumas such as a car accident or a crime, as well as complex trauma that has developed from ongoing adverse experiences such as a difficult/abusive relationship or childhood experiences. I will help you to reduce worry, stress, anxiety, and depression by increasing your ability to experience all emotions, even the uncomfortable ones, increasing your capacity to live more present in your everyday life.
