If you’ve experienced trauma, or something that made you feel powerless, hopeless, or afraid, then I’d love to help you in your recovery process. I specialize in working with adults and teens to help them heal from trauma, such as domestic violence, abuse, and neglect. I also support people in managing concerns like depression, anxiety, substance use, family/relationship conflict, grief, and anger management. I use evidence-based techniques including EMDR, CBT, and DBT. I have experience working within the LGBTQ+ community, and I am able to provide counseling in both English and Spanish. My therapeutic style is authentic, direct, and empathetic. My work focuses on helping clients break patterns of ineffective behaviors and have healthier relationships with themselves and others. I collaborate with my clients to identify and reinforce the strengths they already possess in order to succeed in life, now, and in the future.
