I know that reaching out for help can be a scary and humbling process. I know because I have been there. Living with anxiety, low self-esteem and ghosts from the past is a terrible burden, but it does not have to be a life sentence. Through evidence based interventions such as EMDR, trauma-focused CBT, and strength based solutions I help clients live the lives they've longed for. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is the fastest and most effective path to healing, and I have it seen it change the lives of many clients. EMDR quickly resolves distress and self-limiting beliefs, sparing clients from wasting years in traditional talk therapy. EMDR's success is backed by over 20 research studies and is used extensively by the Veteran's Administration. EMDR is an effective intervention for resolving trauma and other issues such as anxiety, perfectionism, low self-esteem, grief, phobias, and more. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Board-Certified Counselor with more than eleven years’ experience. I am Certified in EMDR through EMDRIA. Additionally, I am a Certified Trauma-Informed Care Practitioner and I hold a Certification in Trauma-Informed Yoga Nidra. I offer telehealth counseling services to adults in the state of FL who are interested in a trauma-focused approach to healing and personal growth.
