Introduction

I am very straightforward and plain speaking. I listen intently and hear what isn’t being said. I will hold you accountable, support you, and keep you motivated. Your courage even looking into getting help is phenomenal. I am so proud of you stretching out to get some support and help. I hope I can have the pleasure of working with you. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist and Chemical Dependency Counselor licensed in the state of Texas. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families for over 7 years as a licensed clinician. Everything changes whether we are ready for it or not. I am here to help you walk through some of those changes and support you with tough love, solid experience, and clinical knowledge. I also have a special place in my practice and heart for families with an addicted loved one. Addiction affects everyone – especially families. I spent more than 10 years working with veterans and their families coping with deployment, PTSD, and family disruption throughout military careers. I am also an Army veteran of OEF/OIF. No matter what branch we served, military or civilian first responders we all bleed and hurt in similar ways. Allow me to help you find your way.
