Introduction

Welcome! I am glad you're here, and I'd love to introduce myself. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) currently serving GA (Virtual) and SC (Virtual/In-Person) residents. I understands that counseling looks different for each client, and I work from an approach that seeks to understand my clients as individuals searching for solutions that are aligned with their personal strengths and experiences. I specializes in working with school-aged children (aged 5 to 18) and young adults. When working with children I enjoy partnering with their parents to provide parenting support as their children receive counseling. My goal is to empower parents to be effective support systems for their growing kids. I am trained in the following theories and modalities: Experiential therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, Nature-Based Therapy; Child-Centered Play-Therapy (CCPT), Strengths-Based and Solutions-Focused. Beyond traditional therapy, I have had the privilege of learning to integrate out-of-office therapeutic services into client care such as walk and talk therapy and some adventure-based activities like kayaking and climbing. These experiences are intended to make therapy more approachable and effective for clients that are not desiring the traditional therapy environment. The goal of experiential work is to help clients increase their ability to tolerate stress in their daily lives/activities by engaging in immersive experiences. Due to my background and the beauty of the Lowcountry, I am able to integrate adventure and nature based activities into treatment at the request of client's that would benefit from a more hands-on approach. A little about me: I am a lover of creativity and connection. I am an avid believer in making the most out of life, and find myself investing most of my time into one of these three categories: connecting with 1. God and his creation, 2. others and 3. myself. If you're in search of a counselor who emphasizes collaboration, values your unique journey, and creates a space filled with empathy and unconditional regard, I am your gal. Feel free to reach out to me via email to schedule a short consultation call to discuss your needs and desires for counseling further. I look forward to serving and supporting you as you grow! ** I do not accept insurance, however, I provide a case-by-case sliding scale fee based upon client income if my rate is not feasible, this ranges from $85-150 per 50-min individual session. Additionally, I can provide you with a monthly superbill upon request that you can supply to your insurance company for potential coverage/reimbursement **
