Introduction

Hello! My name is Carol Miller, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the co-founder and Director of Social Bridges®. Based in Central Florida, Social Bridges® is a private practice that has supported children and families with social-emotional learning for nearly 20 years. At Social Bridges®, we offer social-emotional skill building groups and clubs for children, teens, and young adults. Our clients come to us looking for the skills and tools to connect, communicate, and cope with life's challenges. Individuals who benefit from our services may have a diagnosis of anxiety disorder, (social anxiety, generalized anxiety), ADHD, learning differences, ASD or twice exceptional (gifted plus). We also work with individuals without formal diagnoses, but who benefit from additional support with social interactions. We provide pragmatic instruction based in CBT and practice skill-building via engaging, age-appropriate activities. As of April 2021, Social Bridges® remains virtual. The social-emotional skills we teach and practice are particularly important as families integrate back into face-to-face interactions. We will transition back to face-to-face services as safety permits, while still maintaining telehealth options. We welcome referrals for children, teens, and families throughout Florida.
