Introduction

SPECIALTIES Attachment-Focussed EMDR Therapy Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Psychodynamic Therapy Grief Specialist WELCOME Congratulations on taking this first step toward meaningful change! Choosing to work with a therapist is a hopeful decision—a signal that you’re ready for life to look or feel different. Whether you're managing distress, navigating painful emotions, working through loss, or simply seeking support through a transition, I’m here to help. Together, we can focus on your growth, work toward healing, and guide you toward a place that feels right for you. BACKGROUND With over 15 years of experience, I've had the privilege of providing therapy across diverse settings, including hospitals, schools, and private practice. In my role as Clinical Day Treatment Director at a Community Mental Health Agency, I oversaw programs for high-risk youth and provided clinical supervision and training to therapists. Most recently, I offered both group and individual therapy at Innovative Group Psychotherapy, where I integrated music, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and mentoring to empower teens and young adults on their healing journeys. As Director of Emotional Wellness for the Neuromuscular Disease Foundation, I supported individuals and families as they faced the unique challenges of living with a chronic illness, helping them build resilience and a sense of well-being. APPROACH In my private practice, I enjoy supporting teens, adults, and families as they move through life’s challenges—personal, familial, or interpersonal. My specialties include helping clients with anxiety, depression, bereavement, trauma, family conflict, life transitions, pregnancy loss, infertility, third-party reproduction, parenting, and relationship issues. Together, we’ll explore how past experiences shape your present thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Therapy is a safe space to reflect, grow, and uncover new ways of managing life’s difficulties. I’ll be by your side each step of the way, empowering you to tap into strengths you may not even realize you have. The process may feel challenging at times, but it’s also a place for healing, learning, and positive change. My style is down-to-earth, compassionate, and direct, always grounded in empathy and authenticity. I’ll create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Therapy with me is a collaborative journey—a place for creativity, healing, and growth. We’ll draw on your inner resilience, uncover new strengths, and help you discover paths forward that feel right to you. I use an integrative approach, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, attachment-focused EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), somatic therapy, and mindfulness-based methods. This allows me to tailor therapy to fit your unique needs, whether we’re working on uncovering past patterns or focusing on practical strategies for today. Throughout, I’ll honor your pace and support you as you build the lasting changes you envision. NEXT STEPS If you’re curious about working together, please reach out for a complimentary phone consultation. Finding the right therapist is a big decision, and a quick conversation can help you feel more certain about taking this next step.
