I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (California License # 31814). I completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley (GO BEARS!). I received my master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the City University of New York (CUNY) John Jay College of Criminal Justice and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the PGSP-Stanford University Psy.D. Consortium. I work with adults and couples using a relational approach that emphasizes connection: being seen, heard, and valued for who you are and where you are in your journey. My goal is to create a welcoming, nurturing, non-judgmental space where you feel safe to share your needs and explore the factors and patterns that may be impacting your quality of life. As an immigrant, I am particularly sensitive to the many ways different people show vulnerability, and strive to take multicultural, interpersonal, and contextual factors into account in order to get to know the multiple identities forming our whole selves. I have a direct and transparent approach, and work collaboratively to identify goals and tailor treatment to your specific needs. I practice research supported therapies and often draw from humanistic, cognitive behavioral and mindfulness based techniques. I have received specialized training in EFT for couples, CBT, DBT & Motivational Interviewing. I believe everyone is capable and worthy of healthy relationships with themselves and others. I feel so grateful for the opportunity to help clients increase awareness of and comfort with emotions, improve relationships, and achieve a more balanced and fulfilling life. Please contact me for a consultation to find out if I may be a good fit for you.
