Introduction

Hi there! My name is Carly and I work with people navigating life transitions, recovering from life-threatening events, or healing from complex trauma. People come to me with a variety of symptoms, including depression, anxiety, anger, and ambivalence, as well as attachment wounds that impact their relationships. I have extensive experience working with adult survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. My first job as a clinician is to build a safe and affirming therapeutic relationship, and to work collaboratively with my clients to develop an evidenced-based treatment plan that validates their lived experience and encourages growth. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and I carefully utilize aspects of CBT, DBT, and EMDR. Opening oneself up to change can be incredibly scary.
