Hi, I’m Carlin - welcome. Finding the right therapist is a critical first step in your healing process. You deserve to feel seen, heard, and free of judgment while doing the vulnerable work of self-exploration and change. As your therapist I will serve as a compassionate witness and guide, creating a safe space for you to explore the whole you - body, mind, and spirit. Therapy can help to relieve symptoms as well as lead to abundance, aliveness, and authentic self-expression. My style of working with clients is influenced by my training in psychodynamic, somatic, and relational psychotherapies. My work is deeply informed by a social justice framework, which means that I think about where my client and I are located in our different identities and how that may impact us together in the room and separately out in the world. I am experienced in helping people with the following: Complex trauma (repeated distressing childhood experiences) and PTSD Disordered eating Body acceptance / body image Depression Anxiety Life transitions Grief and loss Intimate partner violence
