One chooses to start therapy for a multitude of reasons. Some feel stuck, isolated, or misunderstood. Others are navigating change–wanted or unwanted–and need a space to process or to break cycles that do not serve them. Whatever brings us together, I aim to create a supportive environment where compassion and humor coexist with reflection and insight. I work with individuals and couples to manage major life changes, existential anxieties, relational challenges, and trauma on a weekly or twice-weekly basis. I’m experienced working with artists, designers, creatives, and educators because I am versed in these fields' unique cultural contexts. As a queer therapist, my work is grounded in the idea that systemic oppression—capitalism, white supremacy, and heteropatriarchy–can profoundly impact mental health. I have experience working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, trauma survivors, and those who experience marginalization. Therapy is a collaborative process; let's chat to see if we are a good fit.
