I recently obtained my master’s in Mental Health Counseling Psychology from Chaminade University in Hawaii. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Columbia College University in Missouri. I have worked with children for many years as a previous preschool owner and then as a special education teacher. I have a significant amount of experience in working with children who have been previously diagnosed with ADHD, who are displaying ADHD behaviors, anxiety, ODD, autism, trauma, relationship trust issues, and grief. I have also worked with Veterans, the homeless population, and addicts. My approach is client-centered. I will tailor all interventions to each client’s needs, drawing from evidence-based practices and integrative therapies. You are the best narrators of your life story. My therapeutic approach emphasizes creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where my clients can feel heard, validated, and empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
