Life can be messy and complicated in the midst of success and accomplishment. As an Indigenous person, female entrepreneur, partner, and constant pursuer of knowledge, I know what it's like to be so busy that your struggles, traumas, stressors, etc. feel isolating. What I know has helped me get through challenging times is a place to let go, cry, breathe and connect with our inner peace. I offer compassionate listening with individualized care to help individuals and couples see joy when difficulties in life present. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with a national certification in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) I help individuals overcome life events like abuse, assault, disturbing childhood memories, domestic violence, traumatic losses, anxiety and fears. EMDR is an effective, extensively researched psychotherapy that often works faster than traditional therapy because you learn how your body has the ability to heal itself. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Interpersonal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness are also used to empower healing. You may even be looking for a secure relationship connection in the midst of overwhelming stress or feeling hopeless from unfulfilling partnerships. Between work-life, home-life, parenting, relationships, side business, etc., etc., life can get rough and you're only one person. I've been there too, and that's why my goal is to support you in creating and re-establishing balance in your life. In my work with couples, I strive to help identify negative patterns in order to establish a relationship that is a safe haven and a healing environment for both partners. I help couples connect using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT is the gold standard for couples therapy. I have rigorous EFT training to help conflict resolution become easier, rather than push each other away or become defensive. Trust and intimacy can deepen when you and your partner are willing to commit to understanding the hurt that is hidden by anger.
