Candice Comisi (she/her) is a psychodynamic, person-centered therapist who approaches her clinical practice through a multicultural, feminist framework. In addition to her formal clinical training at Fordham University, she has 20+ years of organizing and advocacy experience within the LGBTQIA+ community. Clients and colleagues alike say that Candice has a welcoming, nonjudgmental vibe, and has a wicked sense of humor. She regularly treats people with Complex PTSD, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and OCD. She especially enjoys working with LGBTQIA+ people who have a history of trauma within their families of origin. She is available via telehealth for consultations, individual therapy, letters of support for gender-affirming care, and is INN with Cigna.
