Camille Grier is a License Professional Counselor, Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor, National Certified Counselor, receiving her associate degree at Dekalb College, bachelor’s degree in psychology at Georgia State and her master’s degree in Community counseling at Mercer university. She has been in the field of Mental Health for over 25 years and has been a licensed therapist for 18 years. She has worked in many areas in the field of Mental Health, inpatient and outpatient facilities, jails, in the community, on Military installations, and in homes. She has been in private practice since 2009 and has grown her practice to a group practice in several states. She is currently licensed in the following states Georgia, Arizona, Louisiana, Utah, and Nevada. She has supervised several Mental Health programs where she provided Clinical supervision to Associate licensed staff and technicians. Camille is a certified clinical supervisor in the following states Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada. She is a Cognitive Behavioral Solution Focused Therapist, where she focuses on thoughts and feelings that are driving behaviors that have been identified as problematic. Through homework, the interventions discussed during homework are worked on to ensure behavior change is taking place. She has provided direct interventions using Applied Behavioral Analysis. She has provided in-home crisis interventions to clients referred by state agencies. She has provided on-site interventions for children in school while working closely with the parents and teachers. She has helped facilitate the start-up of programs such as Assertive Community Treatment which included a team of 10-12 staff and up to 100 clients in service.
