Introduction

I don't think any of us need to be told life is hard, though sometimes we could all use a listening ear and support. Are there days when work is just overwhelming? Is it becoming difficult to set boundaries with others? Or maybe you're coping with medical challenges or a recent loss? I can't promise a magical cure, but I can promise a space where you can feel safe to vent, laugh, cry, and explore your mind. I have focused experience with working with adults (including health care workers, AAPI clients, and elders) who are coping with feelings of anxiety, depression, grief, and stress. As a Filipina American with a background in healthcare, my approach is collaborative, racially competent, and utilizes evidence based interventions. Our first sessions will be focused on me earning your trust in the therapeutic relationship. During this session, I will ask you about your history and collaborate with you to make a treatment plan that is line with your goals and values. Throughout our work together, I integrate Acceptance and Commitment therapy interventions to help you gain greater awareness and acceptance of your emotions, and provide guidance with learning ways to cope and manage your thoughts. So many of us provide compassion and support to others but often forget to leave some for ourselves. If you feel like we might be a good fit, I invite you to try a free, no-pressure 15 minute consultation call to learn more about me and my style. I currently have openings on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 9am-6pm.
