Introduction

I believe that therapy is a way for us to intimately get to know who we are, and work towards living with authenticity as our favorite versions of ourselves. Through therapy, I work to empower my clients by establishing trust and consistently challenging them to work towards their goals. I aim to help all clients develop a “toolbox” of strategies and skills that can be used to decrease stress, improve communication in relationships, process emotions, combat intrusive thoughts, or target a variety of other common obstacles they may face in their life. I offer therapy to a broad population, with specific interest and focus in relationship therapy for clients in ENM, polyamorous, CNM, or other non-traditional relationship structures. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, and consistently engaged in trainings to learn about working with a diverse clientele, while practicing from a place of acceptance with a goal to understand, and an intention to make sure each of my clients feels truly heard and understood. I am passionate about working with clients who are seeking support for ADHD, and have extensive training in diagnosis, symptom management, and skill development for ADHD symptoms or diagnoses. I also specialize in disordered eating, poor body image, and burnout-all of which are often cooccurring with ADHD. In therapy with me, you can expect to deep dive into not only identifying your emotions, but searching for the way they impact you on every level-in your actions, your thoughts, your relationships, how you carry emotion in your body, and how they have guided the way you feel about yourself. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches including somatic body work, CBT, DBT, relational, and strength-based interventions. I believe in the abilities and strengths of everyone, and am fortunate to have a fulfilling career where I get to play a role in helping my clients believe in themselves too. To schedule a 15-minute chat with me to see if I'm the right fit for you, please use the calendar below. I am Licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate with my bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Saint Martin’s University, and my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Kentucky.
