My approach to psychotherapy is based in collaboration with clients. My goal is to assist you in identifying the underlying causes of your current, or long term, distress, and/or to manage current symptoms. I aim to empower clients to discover their own solutions and to develop healthy coping mechanisms using evidenced-based therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and positive psychology. Since completing my Master's in 2017, I have worked extensively with both eating disorders and substance use disorders (SUD), along with co-occurring mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and mood disorders. I have experience at all levels of care, including residential, PHP, IOP and outpatient at specialized and highly regarded facilities aimed at treating eating disorders and SUD. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
