Introduction

Hi, my name is Calien, but you can call me Cat! I’m a down-to-earth LPC-A (supervised by Robert Broyles, LPC-S) working in Texas, but I’m not your typical therapist. I don’t believe that therapy should be some intimidating experience full of stale clinical talk. I think the coolest thing about therapy is the freedom to say whatever the hell is on your mind without judgment. This is the reason why I take a holistic approach when it comes to counseling. The real world needs real therapy from real ass people. You get what you see with me, and I genuinely want to see you, the real you. I am known for my authenticity, genuine kindness, and empathy. I love working with challenges that come with life and just being human. My goal is to help you understand your story. Let’s get real, life’s hard, and when life throws challenges, it can sometimes leave you feeling angry, hurt, or lost. It’s easy to question who you are or how do you move forward from this. Ever heard the saying, “the struggle is real”? It’s easy to get lost in the daily grind of life, but just as the fabulous Bon Jovi said, “I just want to live while I’m alive.” I’ve been there myself, which is why it’s important to me to help you live your life, not just survive it. Therapy isn’t easy, but I promise to be there with you through it all. You’re a badass. It’s time to start believing that. If you're ready to start therapy, visit www.novatherapypllc.com.
