Introduction

I work with clients by helping them persevere through significant issues of trauma and adjustment in their lives. Trauma is typically defined by the individual client. I have worked with people adjusting to new job environments, new schools and trouble with friends to adjustments from facing a medical diagnoses, terminal illness, or loss of a loved one due to death, divorce, etc. I have spent the last 18 years working with children, adults, couples and families with various issues. In addition to my education and faith, my understanding is aided by my personal experience as a 3x brain tumor survivor who has worked in settings across the country with cancer patients and their families. I am in solo practice but I work with a group of individuals who are specialized in many different areas including Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Marital and Couples Therapy, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors and other EMDR trained clinicians specializing in trauma
