I am here, by your side, as you make bold changes. You will gain the skills and courage to acknowledge and enact your hopes and your dreams. Is 2025 feeling like it’s time to finally make the changes that your heart has been wanting for years? I am here, as your trusted guide, to help navigate you through exciting, terrifying, and bold life transitions. I will be present with you in your deepest hopes and fears. You may feel lonely, but you are not alone. Having me beside you will help you stay steady and purposeful through radical, never-ending change. I believe in the power of community, and will help you build an honest, loving, supportive community. I help clients build more sustainable, joyful lives. Clients are grateful to have done the work to build strong relationships, exciting careers, and thriving creative pursuits. I will help you feel energized as you get in alignment with your inner wisdom. The voice inside of you that has been trying to guide you, but you haven’t had the tenacity to follow. The wise part of you that will accompany you for the rest of your life. I have experienced and am now thriving after chronic illness paired with extreme pain, abuse, existential panic, deep sorrow, unmasking as neurodiverse, crushing grief, and pervasive, destructive perfectionism. I found humility and transcendence through suffering. I approach my own healing journey as it intersects with being as a therapist as: if I am willing to do the work, gain the skills, and have the courage to show up authentically in the world for myself, I gain the knowledge (intellectual, intuitive, and embodied) to guide you to do the same. Through my diverse experience in the mental health field, I have learned what helps clients grow as well as what holds clients back. I now practice neurodiversity-affirming therapy, an approach that transcends pathologies. In my practice as a therapist, I do not consider any of my clients as “disordered”, “sick”, or “broken.” The suffering, pain, trauma, sadness, stress, and/or grief that my clients have experienced and are experiencing is real. I believe them, validate them, and hold space for them. However, I do not conflate validating pain with perpetuating the myth that folks who identify with having mental health struggles are “broken” or “sick.” I believe this is the most effective way to approach mental health in our modern world. I believe in the importance of developing our personal philosophy, or the beliefs that influence our behavior, emotions, and thoughts. In my personal and professional journey, I explore existential crises, relationships, communication, neurodiversity, queerness, gender, politics, liberation, authenticity, consciousness, giftedness, creativity, trauma, spirituality, purpose, holistic wellness, and the mind-body connection. I am happy to explore any or all of these topics with you. I personally navigate and help clients find a path to sustainable physical and mental health. I have built a network of like-minded practitioners for the mind and body that do their best to listen to clients, believe clients, and seek creative solutions to address their struggles. I find joy and purpose in my job. I am passionate about integrating my path as an artist (former opera singer and photographer, current ceramic artist, singer/songwriter, and writer) with my path as a therapist. I am currently co-facilitating three groups through Effective Artistry. Check them out! I am excited to explore all the facets of you. Reach out. I am happy to help.
