Introduction

I'm originally from Lawrence, Kansas and attended the University of Kansas (go Jayhawks!) where I earned my BA in Psychology. Following that, I moved to Denver to attend the University of Denver where I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My clinical experience is varied and includes working in non-profit settings, hospital settings as well as private practice settings. In late 2019 I started my own business, Juniper Counseling. Through my own private practice I see teenagers, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, issues in identity and more. I am inherently empathic in my approach with clients, and focus on creating a space that is inviting and safe for client's to do meaningful therapeutic work.
