My main goal in becoming a therapist is to make mental health services as practical and relatable as possible. Our lives are built on relationships and I can see no better way to promote wellness than focusing on this in therapy. The more comfortable my clients are the easier it is to make uncomfortable changes that lead to greater life satisfaction. Self esteem and confidence is something that I work on with every person I treat. While I work with adults of all ages, I specialize in treating millennial issues such as failure to launch, relationship issues, moving through past traumas, feeling stuck/uncertain, and planning for the future. In addition, I treat issues related to hopelessness, low confidence, and low motivation. My goal is to help you understand yourself as a whole instead of only your struggles. In session we will work on processing and skill building. This means you will have time for traditional "talk therapy" but also space to learn and make change. This approach leads to the most relief as soon as possible.
