Introduction

Hello, from Colorado Brain Injury Therapy! Emotional care is vital for growth and healing, especially when dealing with chronic pain, injury, or illness. The unpredictable and often invisible nature of such pain can lead to feelings of isolation and detachment, both from oneself and from others. Unfortunately, the traditional medical model often falls short of addressing the full complexity of the human experience during these times. A more holistic approach is needed—one that considers not just the physical, but also the emotional and psychological aspects of navigating life with a chronic health condition. I specialize in working with individuals navigating life with persistent concussion symptoms (PCS) and traumatic brain injury (TBI), as well as chronic pain, long-COVID, illness, trauma, and grief. I work with clients to address the loss of identity, medical fatigue, grief, and negative thought patterns that often coincide with chronic pain and illness. We have developed a treatment approach designed to assist survivors in rebuilding their sense of self, empowering them to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives. If you or a loved one has been impacted by a brain injury, or other chronic injury/illness, Colorado Brain Injury Therapy is here to support you. Call us now for a free 15-minute consultation.
