As a therapist, I strive to create a safe space for my clients to explore and evolve. I’m passionate about working with clients struggling with trauma, men specific counseling, attachment and anxiety, depression, LGBTQ and identity work. I use a variety of skills, including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and solution-focused therapy to facilitate each client’s therapeutic process. I believe my clients know themselves better than anyone else, and that self-awareness and acceptance is necessary for true progress to occur. I advocate for my clients to see their own influence for growth. Therapy with me will be collaborative, nonjudgmental, and authentic. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership, I found joy in helping individuals work through painful situations and move forward in their lives. To continue down a path of counseling, I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Since 2012, I’ve had the opportunity to work in various mental health settings, including clinics, outpatient, and residential care. I truly love finding connections with others through our stories. I value spending time with family and friends. I love attending concerts, playing ukulele, traveling, trying new food, and creating art.
