As a clinical social work candidate (SWC), I am dedicated to providing compassionate care to individuals navigating complex challenges. I specialize in treating trauma, including complex and religious trauma, and offer a safe, brave space for clients to heal and grow. My approach to therapy integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and written exposure therapy (WET). I have a unique background with dual master’s degrees in Social Work (MSW) and Divinity (MDiv), as well as a certificate in Human-Animal-Environment Interactions in Social Work (HAEI-SW). My HAEI-SW enables me to have a strong knowledge base surrounding human-animal interactions and animal-assisted therapy, which I hope to facilitate with my certified therapy dog, Fusion, in the future. My lived experiences with invisible disabilities and professional experience as a psychosocial rehabilitation therapist deeply influence my therapeutic approach, allowing me to understand the complexities of mental health from both a personal and professional perspective. I focus on empowering individuals from the LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse communities. I believe in healing through connection, self-compassion, and creativity. I aim to provide a flexible, accessible, and inclusive therapeutic environment where clients can feel safe exploring their inner worlds and developing the tools they need for long-term healing and resilience.
