Introduction

I am a licensed clinical professional counselor in Illinois with a particular focus on helping folks dealing with LGBTQIA+ related issues, addiction, trauma, and phobias break the chains of old behaviors that often keep them feeling disconnected and alone. Once we identify your concerns and goals, I make it a point that you understand all available options. A client's voice and choice guide my process, ensuring we progress at a pace that suits your needs. As an openly gay man, I have had my own experiences of not being affirmed, especially when it came to my healthcare. It is my hope to not only create a welcoming space for people of all identities, but a space where folks are able to safely reflect on difficult subjects without fear of being shamed for who they are or what they have experienced. Surfing the internet for professional help is a sign on some level you believe meaningful change may be possible for you. If you'd like to start the process, I'd be honored to be a part of your journey. Please request an appointment on my website using the link in my profile and we can get started. I look forward to meeting you. Thanks.
