Introduction

Betsy Rider-Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has extensive experience in the mental health field from working in a variety of settings. Betsy provided therapeutic services at the inpatient psychiatric care level and adolescent and adult partial hospitalization programs. She worked in several outpatient practices (Women’s Counseling Services, Center for Mental Health of Reading Hospital and Emotional Wellness). Betsy is currently employed at Tower Health as an Integrative Care Clinician in family medical practice settings. She obtained a B.A. in Philosophy and Psychology at Connecticut College and later earned a M.A. in Counseling Psychology at Kutztown University. She enjoys reading, playing squash and tennis, and volunteers on the board of the Yocum Institute of the Arts. Betsy believes a connection with nature is vital to health and wellbeing.
