I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a particular passion for working with other queer individuals. One of my aims as a therapist is to provide a safe space for people within the LGBTQIA+, ethically non-monogamous, and BDSM/kink communities. I am also passionate about working with individuals who may be dealing with or need help with: relationship issues, communication skills, anxiety, mindfulness techniques, self worth, and confidence building. I have experience working with a wide variety of populations, from young adults to elder adults in all kinds of different backgrounds, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and gender identities. I have experience working with a variety of different issues and different presentations and I strive to tailor therapy to each individual. I do not believe that a diagnosis should define you and I am more interested in working with symptoms and treating you as a unique individual. I also have several years of mental health experience working in emergency psychiatry in a hospital setting prior to my experience as a counselor.
