Introduction

Hello and welcome! I specialize in trauma/complex trauma, eating disorder and body image concerns, relationship concerns, LGBTQ+ and CNM/poly, depression, anxiety, and religious reconstruction. My approach is ideal for long-term health, preferring to do the deeper work that is often needed for holistic, lasting change rather than short fixes! I enjoy utilizing humor, creative approaches to therapy, and aim to balance support and challenge in our work. I also offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Walk and Talk therapy, and yoga therapy. My collaborative approach starts with building a safe and comfortable space and focusing on individual, cultural, and systems- & trauma-informed perspectives. I combine various empirically validated approaches based on need and preference, from multicultural-feminist frameworks to Interpersonal, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and/or ACT, DBT, and CBT skills. As a queer, agnostic person looking to challenge diet culture/anti-fatness, racial discrimination, anti-queer and other justice issues, you'll see this perspective play out in our work together. I approach each person with curiosity and empowerment and would love to work with you!
