Introduction
I am a licensed mental health counselor and certified tele-mental health provider with a diverse background of experience counseling and advocating for individuals in a variety of community based social service and private practice settings. My clients have described my style as direct, genuine, and motivating. I use an eclectic blend of treatment approaches, individually detailing treatment to meet my client’s unique needs and desire for change and growth. In your sessions with me you can expect a collaborative, non-judgmental approach. You will be led through a journey of self-discovery and growth, increasing your self-confidence in your abilities to cope and overcome life’s barriers and stressors as they present themselves. I provide individual therapy services to ages sixteen and older. I also work with couples experiencing issues within their relationships. Some of the treatment modalities I utilize in my practice include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Virtual Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Person Centered, and Nature-Based Therapy.
