Introduction

Brooke grew up in Colorado and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Denver, where she majored in criminology and minored in sustainability. She then went on to complete her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2014, where she focused on families and trauma therapy. Brooke has over 8 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, parents, and families in crisis settings, wilderness therapy, and through her private practice. Brooke wishes to support her clients in building skills to access their own resiliency and capabilities. She utilizes a strengths-based approach and evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, and incorporates mindfulness and somatic integration into her sessions. She believes in each person’s ability to thrive mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Brooke brings compassion, patience, honesty, and direct feedback to her relationships with her clients to support them in interrupting unhealthy patterns and leading them towards living in alignment with their own values.
