Introduction

Hi. I’m Brittni Sterner. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist and owner of Rocky Mountain Relationship and Family Therapy. I help struggling humans connect with others and connect with themselves. I have always had an interest in understanding relationships and helping others with their relationships. When I started my path to becoming a counselor, I realized the issues people experience don’t start in a vacuum. Most of the struggles we experience develop because of the world and people around us. I am trained in level 3 Gottmann Theory, which I utilize to support couples with building trust and connection while learning to effectively communicate with each other. I didn’t want my education and expertise to stop at treating just couples and families. I understand that many people need to connect with themselves before they can connect with others. I specialize in treating anxiety and many other issues using evidenced based treatments. I utilize EMDR and mindfulness techniques to support my clients in finding relief and connecting with themselves. I am always researching and educating myself on the most up to date evidenced based treatments to support my clients. Whether you are dealing with anxiety or depression or need help with building your relationship, collectively we can find the best approach to fit your needs.
