Introduction

My name is Brittnee Smith, the founder of Feelosophy Counseling and Consulting. I was inspired to create a virtual space to help people like you grow and kindle your inner greatness to make impactful change in your life, the people around you, and our environment. I received my Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2016. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). With over seven years of experience in the mental health field, I have had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, and their support systems in overcoming challenges related to eating disorders, anxiety, and more. I have worked in various levels of care including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings. In addition, I have experience leading a virtual team at ERC as a clinical manager whose regions achieved the highest-rated clinical quality in 2021. Currently, I hold a part-time role as a Senior Therapist III at Eating Recovery at Home. In therapy, I value creating a warm and laidback environment where individuals can feel at ease. I am known for my efficient and productive approach to creating systems and plans, and I believe that laughter (when appropriate) is an important part of the therapeutic process.
