Life presents many challenges, especially when we attempt to juggle daily stressors, including work and personal obligations, social interactions, and the complexities of interpersonal relationships. For many, the responsibilities of raising children and managing family and relational dynamics add another layer of difficulty. Additionally, the quest for self-identity and maintaining faith in God can feel overwhelming, particularly when we are still healing from past traumas and experiences. As we journey through life, we come to understand that while our past experiences do not define who we are, they undeniably influence our responses and interactions with others. These experiences shape our coping mechanisms and how we navigate our emotional landscape. Engaging in therapy can provide invaluable insights into the diverse ways we can work towards healing from our emotional and mental wounds. However, it is important to recognize that the healing process is often complex and deeply personal; there is no universal solution that fits everyone. I emphasize the importance of tailoring therapeutic sessions specifically to your individual needs and circumstances. I take a more direct and collaborative approach and offer different skills and worksheets if that works for the client. I draw from a variety of modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, while also integrating a Psychodynamic approach grounded in the Christian faith to help you achieve your desired goals. After serving in the military, I learned that change doesn't happen overnight. Staying consistent, being self-compassionate, and having a safe space to express yourself are essential steps toward mental and emotional healing. This allows you to live authentically, free from emotional or cognitive barriers that may hinder your true potential. I work with a diverse range of individuals to support them on their healing journey.
