Brittany is a licensed Mental Health Counselor who received her master’s degree from the University of North Florida in 2015. Trained in psychodynamic, client-centered, cognitive-behavioral and systemic approaches to counseling, she tailors interventions to meet the unique needs of her clients. At the heart of her practice is focus on self-care and mindfulness. Life is ever-changing, for better and for worse. The only constant is ourselves. Brittany helps guide her clients to the best version of themselves- mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically- so they can rise resilient throughout the seasons. She also has a passion for helping shape healthy families. Often times that requires looking inward to the family patterns that shaped us. Brittany empowers her clients to break through those barriers and create the meaningful life and family they desire. Other areas of interest and expertise include grief and loss, parenting, family/couple issue's and emotional intelligence training. Brittany is a certified yoga instructor who uses that knowledge to treat anxiety and depression and promote self-care within her practice. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, yoga, calisthenics workouts, traveling to new places and spending time with her husband as well as their family and friends. Brittany is known for ensuring that clients feel heard and respected, working hard to build a foundation of trust. She believes that everyone has a beautiful story to share and continue writing. She is looking forward to hearing yours!
