Brittany Stratton, Licensed Clinical Social Worker One of my favorite quotes is, “life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain.” I have had the pleasure of serving as an honorary dance instructor to children, adolescents, adults, and families in various community behavioral health settings. I have experience providing outpatient & inpatient counseling, intensive care coordination, crisis intervention, and clinical case management services. One of my passions is supporting clients with rediscovering their strengths, embracing their humanness, and finding their balance. I have been in the social work field for over 10 years. I attended Virginia Commonwealth University, earning a Bachelor of Social Work Degree in 2010 and Master of Social Work Degree in 2012 – GO RAMS!! I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2019. I am known for my compassion, sense of humor, and creativity. I enjoy incorporating art activities, music, meditation, writing, and physical activity into therapy. Witnessing the growth and resilience of the individuals and families I have the honor of serving is what motivates me to remain in the field! I believe that I learn just as much from my clients as they learn from me. When I am not working I enjoy visiting local and national parks with my senior pup, spending time with family & friends, and dancing in the rain!
