Introduction

I'm a New York State Licensed Mental Health Therapist, a Connecticut State Licensed Professional Counselor, and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Therapist. I started off in the field of counseling wanting to help adolescents and young adults struggled with self-esteem and eating disorders. I have been fortunate enough to have many different experiences in the field, including helping those with substance use recovery, help pregnant and postpartum parents, and those looking to work on their eating habits. With these opportunities, I have been trained on DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing. I have also taken trainings on understanding layers of shame and trauma. I have also led group therapy sessions on many behavioral health topics for the past 8+ years. I have since expanded as a professional of offering consultations, introductory trainings, and workshops for the community. I am also offering group therapy on various topics starting in September 2024! I accept many insurance plans, offer services under Open Path Collective, which helps low income individuals seek great care, and use Mentaya to help individuals seek compensation with their out of network insurance benefits-https://mentaya.co/inviteclient/apyLzA13pez0pJ6iM2XX. I look forward to continuing the opportunity to help clients find new perspectives on their life, learn new skills, grow in their confidence, and heal from difficult experiences.
