Brittany has experience in trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and emotion-focused work and looks forward to enhancing her understanding of these practices as an intern at Love is Healing. She is looking forward to increasing her familiarity with different types of psychotherapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and attachment-focused work. She is interested in working with people from all walks of life, especially those seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD. She genuinely enjoys getting to know others, meeting them where they are in their healing journeys, and helping them grow into their best selves. Brittany will be training as a shamanic apprentice and is looking forward to learning more about using the connections we have with the Earth for healing purposes. She believes that spirituality is a subjective experience that can manifest in a variety of ways and that individuals can connect spiritually even when they hold different spiritual beliefs.
