My name is Britany and I'm a Clinical Social Worker licensed in Michigan. I specialize in supporting parents and children during the stages of pregnancy, post-partum, infancy, and early childhood. These stages of life often bring families hope and joy, though they can also bring many challenges. These challenges may include post-partum depression/anxiety, parenting stress, relationship difficulties, attachment difficulties, trauma, and loss. Throughout my career a guiding belief has been the importance of relationships and connection. I hope to create a space of warmth and safety where we can find joy and laugh, while exploring some of the more challenging parts of life and parenthood together. In my work I utilize elements from several evidence based practices to best fit your needs and goals, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Infant Mental Health, Play Therapy, and Child Parent Psychotherapy.
