Bridget Connell earned her Masters of Science degree in Counseling and Clinical Health Psychology at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both inpatient, outpatient, and school settings in one-on-one and group contexts. She also has experience with conducting and facilitating crisis assessments in both clinic, hospital, and school settings. She has worked in collaboration with medical teams in order to coordinate appropriate and effective care for her clients. A fundamental component to her practice is facilitating a nonjudgmental, affirming environment in which one can focus on growth and healing. She is Eagala certified and believes in the harnessing the healing power of nature and animals to assist her clients toward meeting their treatment goals. She also knows the importance of being trauma sensitive and is certified in TF-CBT.
