At times we will examine difficult emotions that may feel uncomfortable and together we will make meaning of those emotions. We will laugh, cry, and be joyous together as we dive into your story. Together we will work to bring healing and transformation into your life by increasing self-awareness and learning practical coping mechanisms. I often use a combination of attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. In the first few sessions, we will explore what brought you into therapy, and from there we will decide what approaches would work best for your goals. I value collaboration and client advocacy in sessions, meaning if the approach is not working, we will pivot to another approach.
