Introduction

My name is Brianna, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a focus on supporting women through the challenges of adjusting to change and uncertainty. My mission is simple: I want to empower you to navigate change and uncertainty with resilience and hope. Sometimes our roles, relationships, and purpose can feel unclear, leaving us lacking hope and confidence. According to Dictionary.com, hope is defined as: "the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best," and: "to look forward to with desire and reasonable confidence." I believe our hope for the future is closely tied to our peace with the past and our actions in the present. While building confidence in various aspects of life might be a journey, remember that hope extends beyond the horizons visible right now. Navigating life with limiting beliefs and self-doubt is difficult at best. It might be time to take steps toward greater self-awareness and self-compassion. If you're seeking more peace, hope, and confidence in life and you're willing to pivot through challenges, I'm here to walk beside you on the paths you choose. With 13 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I've had the privilege of meeting and supporting resilient individuals like you. In our virtual therapy room, you can safely reflect on your thoughts, emotions, and choices. Through empowerment and encouragement, I'll guide you to explore new perspectives and opportunities for growth and inner peace. Additionally, I will provide support, guidance, and feedback while being a compassionate sounding board for you in processing through the stuck, messy, uncomfortable emotions. Understand that emotions are not enemies; they are messengers guiding you to discover your values, needs, and desires. Together, we will explore your choices and commitments for developing the mindset and actions necessary to release self-limiting patterns, empowering you to expand your horizons. You get to select the tools for your personal tool belt and practice implementing them between sessions. Throughout our journey, we will reflect on both setbacks and successes, ultimately crafting plans of action that allow you to refocus, renew, and authentically be who you aspire to be today. To arrange your free 20-minute phone consultation, simply click the “REQUEST APPOINTMENT” or "CONTACT" icon at the top of the page. This initial contact ensures we're a good match for your journey. Sessions are exclusively offered via ONLINE tele-mental health counseling for residents in COLORADO or OKLAHOMA, using a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform and client portal. Whether you're new to counseling, telehealth, or both, I know that getting started can feel like a struggle, and I'm here to support you every step of the way. Together, we'll illuminate the path beyond the visible horizons, fostering confidence and optimism as we journey towards a brighter tomorrow! FAQs Q: ARE YOU LICENSED AND HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE? A: Yes, I am a licensed professional in Colorado and Oklahoma. I graduated with a master’s degree in Community Counseling in 2008 and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since 2011. My experience includes working with various populations, and I currently specialize in online therapy, primarily supporting adult women with adjustment issues related to life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, and stress reactions. Q: HOW WILL I PAY FOR SERVICES? A: For Colorado clients using insurance, I work with various agencies. Contact me for details. For self-pay and Oklahoma clients, a card on file is maintained and charged at the start of each session through the secure STRIPE credit processing system. Q: WILL I BE ABLE TO USE MY OUT-OF-NETWORK BENEFITS TO GET REIMBURSED? A: Possibly, but unlikely in Oklahoma. It depends on your specific insurance plan and services provided. Check with your insurance carrier for details on out-of-network benefits. Q: WHAT ARE THE RISKS AND BENEFITS OF USING INSURANCE FOR THERAPY? A: In-network providers have limitations on privacy and treatment flexibility. Out-of-network services offer more privacy control and tailored treatment. Billing insurance requires a mental health diagnosis, potentially impacting future considerations. Q: WILL I QUALIFY FOR SLIDING SCALE IF I DON'T HAVE INSURANCE AND CAN'T AFFORD THE FULL FEE? A: Possibly. I use Open Path Psychotherapy Collective for reduced fee services. Check their website for availability and registration information. Q: HOW LONG WILL I NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN THERAPY? A: Depends on goals and needs. Therapy duration varies based on individual progress and preferences, ranging from brief engagements to longer-term support. Q: WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM YOU? A: Full attention and support, a secure virtual room, personalized sessions, respect, encouragement, belief in your capabilities, guidance without judgment, and collaboration in your therapeutic journey. Q: WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM ME? A: Mutual respect and trust. Regular participation, ongoing communication, and notifying in advance if you plan to exit therapy. Progress assessment will guide the decision to end services. Q: WHAT DO I NEED FOR VIRTUAL TELE-MENTAL HEALTH SESSIONS? A: A personal computer or laptop is recommended; a secure internet connection and the "Telehealth by SimplePractice" app if using a mobile device. *GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE* You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. ● You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. ● Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. ● If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. ● Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
