Introduction

At the heart of my therapeutic approach is a steadfast belief in the inherent ability of all individuals to cultivate lives of meaning and fulfillment. As a mental health counselor, my dedication to fostering positive growth is grounded in drawing out the internal strengths of my clients. My practice philosophy embraces humility and respect for the unique stories and perspectives each person brings to therapy, guided by evidence-based treatments, trauma-informed care, and culturally sensitive interventions. In our journey together, I adopt an integrative therapeutic strategy, blending modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Attachment-Based Therapy. This eclectic approach is tailored to meet the distinct needs of each individual, emphasizing the importance of cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed practices. My professional experience spans working with justice-impacted folks, those navigating developmental trauma, the LGBTQIA+ community, and people coping with serious mental illness. My aim is to create a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where clients are encouraged to express themselves freely, fostering a sense of being heard, validated, and empowered. This therapeutic space is a ground for exploring thoughts and emotions, understanding behavioral patterns, and acquiring new skills to face life's challenges. I am committed to serving my clients by acknowledging the complex connections between mind, body, and spirit, and guiding them towards self-discovery and empowerment. By accessing their inner wisdom and resources, my clients are supported in finding their own solutions and pursuing a life of purpose, joy, and fulfillment. Together, we can embark on a path towards a more purposeful and joyful life.
